🔍 Part 26: Copying, pasting & duplicating a pattern
To copy and paste a pattern to the same page, click Select All or hit CTRL A on your keyboard to select it. Next, click Edit, Copy or hit CTRL C on your keyboard to copy it. Finally, click Edit, Paste or hit CTRL V on your keyboard to paste a duplicate copy of the pattern to your page. You can then drag it to a new location. You can copy and paste your pattern instantly and as many times as you like. It certainly beats tracing it by hand on paper!
To copy a pattern to a new document, click Select All, to select the pattern. Click Edit, Copy to copy the pattern. Click File, New or CTRL + N on your keyboard to create a new document. Add your width, height and measurement type, then click create. Finally click Edit, Paste to paste the pattern.
