🔍 Part 30: Moving Points
To move a point, line, or any object by a specific measurement, select the object and hit the Enter key on your keyboard to bring up the move dialogue box.

To move a point horizontally, add your measurement to the horizontal input box, but add 0 to the vertical input box. A positive measurement moves the point right. A negative measurement moves the point left.

To move a point vertically, add 0 to the horizontal input box and your measurement to the vertical input box. A positive measurement moves the point down and a negative measurement moves it up.

Finally click copy to move and mark a new point. Be aware, clicking ok, will simply move the existing point and your measurement will be lost.

You can check the distance the point has moved by using the line tool and document info tool.
