If you are not a fan of what someone is uploading on their profile, however, don't want to unfollow them, Instagram lets you mute their posts.
Just follow these steps and you will figure out how you can do it:
1. Go to your Instagram profile tab.
2. Click on the Following section at the top of the screen.
3. Find the account that posts you would like to mute and tap to open it.
4. Now press on the Following button.
5. Hit the Mute option from a menu that appears on the screen.
6. In order to mute posts, toggle the slider to right next to the Posts option. That’s it!
