Just follow these steps and you will be able to do it:
1. Open up Instagram app on your mobile and login to your Instagram profile.
2. If you don’t want to show you following list to all users, then simply make your Instagram account private and it will be visible only to your followers.
3. However, if you don’t want to show your following list to a specific user, then proceed to his profile page.
4. Tap on the three-dot icon at the upper right corner of your screen.
5. Select “Restrict”. From now on your following list will not show up for this specific user.
