Now here’s how to mute Instagram account:
1. Open Instagram app on your mobile phone and login to your Instagram account.
2. Click on the home icon at the bottom left corner.
3. Proceed to “Direct messages” by clicking the icon at the top right.
4. Now find the chat you want to mute and click and hold on it.
5. Tap on “Mute messages”.
