Features include moderate noise cancelling, above average sound quality, high quality construction and aesthetic. As you can see, the earbuds are made of a polished aluminum, plastic and Silicon for the rubber tips.
One cool design of the amorno earphones it its intuitive locking mechanism for keeping the earphone on your ear. So what you do is twist the earphone into the groove of your earlobe, which then locks the earphone in place and prevents the earphone from falling out.
Sound Quality
The earbuds also have mics built into them, although the person who receives the audio will think that you are speaking out of a tin can.
However, the quality of the earbud speaker audio is above average. To insure the quality of sound, I found that you have to make sure that the silicon rubber tips sit inside of your ear properly. I personally had to change the rubber tips to a medium size, and I found that the sound quality significantly improved because the fitting was much more secure.
Bluetooth
These wireless earbuds use the new Bluetooth 4.2 standard. In my experience, the Bluetooth connection is better with newer phones like the Note 9. But older phones that utilize an older Bluetooth technology may not have as good of a connection.
Pairing
First pair the earbuds with each other, which you can do by holding the power button of each earbud for 3-5 seconds until a white light flashed on both earbuds- then they will automatically pair with each other. At this point, the left earbud will emit a white light, the right earbud will flash red and white to pair to the phone
Next, open the Bluetooth options on your Smartphone and pair to “AMORNO HM 2060-R”. Do not connect to “AMORNO HM 2060-L”, the left earpiece.
Charging
Put earbuds into charging case. Then press the switch button on the case. Close the cover box, and connect to the charging cable. The light on the case will flash red while charging.
Battery
The only real con is battery life- the earbuds have a playtime of approximately 3 hour from when they are fully charged. I believe that the playtime improves to about 4 hours or more with medium to lower volumes, which is what I normally use when listening to podcasts or music.
The earbuds come with a 500 mAh charging case which charges the earbuds when placed inside. The case can charge the earpieces about 4 times before the case itself needs charging. So if you take the case wherever you go, you essentially have a total playtime of 12 hours or more. Inside of the case, the earbuds take about 15 minutes to charge up.
Overall, I really like these earbuds and I would recommend them to those who need to listen to audio for bursts of 3-4 hours or less at a time. For longer durations, I would recommend a wireless headset with a larger battery.
The only problem that I encountered with the earphones is occasional cutting or skipping in the Bluetooth connection. I believe this happens when there are too many Bluetooth devices in the vicinity, because the Bluetooth wireless communication channel then becomes congested. Another reason would be if the earphones are low on battery power.
I find that re-pairing the earphones again helps if the Bluetooth connection continues to be choppy.
