Humane Society looking for new homes for their animals after large-scale cat rescue
At the end of July, a large-scale cat rescue brought many cats to the Tacoma Humane Society. Now, there's an urgent need to rehome some of the animals.
The Director of Marketing and Communications at the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County, Lauren Green, spoke with Holly Menino about the cats and the processes to help the animals.
Green detailed the conditions these cats came from, their current medical conditions after being rescued, and what Tacoma Humane is doing to get people to come in and adopt.
