ROME: OFF THE BEATEN PATH (Cosmedin, Circus Maximus, Victor Emmanuel II Monument)
Rome has so many great monuments and attractions such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, etc. but there are a few less known attractions that should be visited as well. The Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verita) in the Santa Maria in Cosmedin has an interesting legend behind it and the church contains some ancient crypts as well. Circus Maximus was where the famous ancient Roman chariot races took place. The Victor Emmanuel II Monument is a majestic but controversial building that is a tribute to the first King of Italy. The Theater of Marcellus was the largest open air theater in Rome. I really enjoyed visiting all of these attractions and I hope you enjoy the video featuring these attractions.
