Line-plane intersections are performed frequently in computer graphics, one notable example being during raytracing as the rays being cast into the scene are just lines and triangle polygons are just bounded planes. The intersections between these lines and planes show where we should calculate shading information for a polygon.

In this lecture, we use visual examples to gain an intuition for how a line-plane intersection may be solved, and perform the calculations to verify our findings.
