In 1995, the first generation Chrysler Sebring was introduced as a coupe, and then in 1996 as a convertible. According to a number of sources, Chrysler spent three years working on the attractive design for a vehicle that promised "reasonable performance" from a convertible. Some car aficionados believed that using the same assembly plant as the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Eagle Talon twins might indicate the same long term reliability for the '98 Sebring. Yet making the V-6 engine an option for this sporty car wasn't enough to keep drivers quiet when complaining about the lack of a 5-speed transmission. What do you think of the 1998 Chrysler Convertible Sebring?
