The Dodge Dakota was a reliable mid-size truck produced by Chrysler Ram, a division of Dodge, first produced in late 1986 as a 1987 model. Produced and available in three different colors in 1998, blue, black and red. The Dodge Dakota has been known to be a dependable vehicle even with 220,000+ miles on it. When it came to day-to-day driving, the Dakota did not disappoint. This 250 horsepower, stylish hauler with hot rod fat tires, was just as fun to drive as a V8 powered muscle car. Unfortunately, the 1998 Dodge Dakota didn't have all positive feedback. Some drivers reported problems including failed fuel pumps, multiple coolant leaks, and engine oil leaks. However, the Dodge Dakota was produced until 2011, ending the truck's very long 25 year run. I guess 'the proof is in the puddin!' You can't argue with a 25-year track record; truck lovers seem to really love the Dodge Dakota!
