Battle of Gronder (Blue Lion PoV) (Chapter 17 - Blue Lions) | Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Greetings everyone and welcome back to my playthrough of the Blue Lions route of Fire Emblem: Three Houses! It's time for the big class reunion at Gronder Field again! The objective of Chapter 17 is to capture Gronder Field by defeating both Edelgard and Claude. If you've seen my Golden Deer playthrough, this is the exact same chapter except you control the Blue Lions this time. Edelgard and the Imperial army behave no differently than the Golden Deer version of this chapter and will attack you ceaselessly. However, you're up against Claude this time and he is no fool. Claude will wait and see how the battle progresses first. If you attack the Imperials first, Claude's army will attempt to flank you after a few turns. If you try to go after Claude first, then you have to deal with constant back attacks from Edelgard's men. It's a nasty setup and a bit harder to deal with than in Golden Deer. Nevertheless, if you phalanx your units and take the central hill quickly, you will dominate the battlefield.
