Week 7 Story - Path of the Splicer VII + Expunge: Corrupted Styx | Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer
Week 7 of Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer has arrived and with it brings new story content! Last week, we discovered that Quria, Dreaming Mind, is the Vex Mind responsible for the Endless Night and that Savathun is behind everything. While the Vanguard and Mithrax are overly eager to pursue Quria within the Vex Network, more data is needed to pinpoint its exact location. This week, Mithrax has located another Nexus that has been corrupted by the Taken on the Moon. After defeating the resurrected Oppressive Mind in Expunge: Corrupted Styx, Mithrax successfully tracks Quria to its domain. However, it is shielded by several layers of security within the Vex Network. It will take another week to find a route to its Nexus. Meanwhile, back at the Tower, Lakshmi has approached Saint-14 about taking Zavala's job as Vanguard Commander while she and Executor Hideo conspire to overthrow the Vanguard. Saint-14 admits to Osiris that Lakshmi's rhetoric is treasonous, but he does yearn for less bureaucracy. Osiris tells Saint to play along with Lakshmi for now or else she may go to Lord Saladin next. The Last City is now officially one spark away from a civil war. Will we destroy Quria before that happens?
