Mission #11 - Simulation: Survival (No Commentary) | Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS4)
After a month and a half delay, Destiny 2: Beyond Light has finally graced our platforms. This expansion was marketed by Bungie as the game changer as we finally receive Darkness subclasses and enter the Age of Darkness that has been foreshadowed since the beginning of Destiny 1.
Beyond Light's story centers around the Jovian moon of Europa, the return of Variks and the Exo Stranger, and the rise to power of Eramis, Kell of Darkness. Mars, Mercury, Io, and Titan have just fallen to the Pyramids. Eramis, formerly a House Devils Baroness, steals a Crux of Darkness from the Europan surface and discovers the power of Stasis. Eramis descends into madness and plans to give this power to her army and begin a takeover of the system. Variks witnesses Eramis's transformation and flees in horror, blasting a distress signal to anyone who can hear it. At the same time, the Exo Stranger arrives once again in our timeline and undertakes an effort to thwart a dark future.
This video focuses on the eleventh story mission "Simulation: Survival". After the world's first team completed the Deep Stone Crypt, the space station orbiting Europa crashed and Clovis Bray's AI inside Bray Exoscience has reawakened. Variks detects that something is siphoning a substantial amount of power within the Braytech facility. When we investigate, it turns out to be a high fidelity simulation meant to test Exo combat prowess.
