Today we cover everything there is to know about keeping track and displaying the score of your game in Godot 4. I walk you through the logic behind tracking and changing scores while also going through step by step how to display that information on the screen in the form of UI that updates in real time!! Having the ability to display a score is so important to the players experience as it pushes the player to want to keep playing so they can improve!! So having a good score system is so valuable! So I want to cover step by step how to keep track and display the score in Godot 4.
