When using multiple video inputs that also contain embedded audio, the Audio Follows Video function helps ensure the audio presented in the speakers, streaming, and recording matches with the video on the displays. In this demonstration, Nico Suárez is using the Roland VR-50HD MK II Multi-Format AV Mixer. However, this process can be replicated on any Roland video mixer with audio follows video capability.
Begin by routing the audio coming from the video inputs into the audio channels. Choose “select” to see that various source options available and pick video sources. Then raise the fader limits. In order to make the sources follow the video selected, turn on the follow option. The follow function displayed in red, is the live channel. Then, your audio sources will follow the video sources they are assigned to track.
