At the gates of Bourg-en-Bresse, curator Pierre-Gilles Girault invites you to visit the royal monastery of Brou, a flamboyant Gothic masterpiece unique in France, built for the love of a Duke of Savoy. In the Bresse plain, Cyril Dégluaire raises thousands of poultry each year. A prestigious breeding, because Bresse poultry is considered the fourth wonder of French gastronomy by the greatest chefs. On the banks of the Saône, the town of Trévoux, a former river tollbooth, has had an extraordinary destiny. For centuries, the river marked the boundary of the kingdom of France. And so it is by boat that Corinne Vaucourt reaches the city and opens the doors of the district court, the former Parliament of Dombes.
