If you want to automatically enable and disable dark mode or night mode in android device then:
1. Open “Settings”.
2. Select “Display”.
3. Select “Night mode”.
4. select “Sunset to sunrise”.
5. Now for this to work you should have location enabled so that the device can know when the sun rises and sets according to your location.
6. If location is not enabled then open “Settings”.
7. Tap on the search icon and then look for “Location”.
8. Tap on Location to open it.
9. Make sure to enable the location.
10. Now let me again go back and go to “Display”.
11. And let me go to “Night mode”.
12. Enable “Sunset to sunrise” and your device will go to night mode as per the sunset in your location.
13. Now if you want to set a custom schedule then tap on custom schedule.
14. Under “Start time”, you can select the time for sunset then select “Done”.
15. Also you can tap on “End time” and then set the end time.
16. Then tap on “Done”.
17. Now the dark mode will be activated according to the schedule time.
18. For this you need not activate location in android device.
