We take our example of a simple SQLAlchemy-generated SQLite database with a ONE-to-MANY relationship (Painters creating Paintings) by getting the data from a JSON file. The JSON file has a list of Painters. Each painter has a paintings property which is another list. The python/sqlalchemy code extracts the data from the way it is stored in JSON and inserts it into a database way of storing the data.
