In this video we use Mathematica/Wolfram-Cloud to examine some results in the distributions associated with rolling dice. We start with a generating function for ND NS-sided dice. From it we construct a distribution (list in Mathematica) that "perfectly" represents the scenario. If there are 10 ways to roll a 6 (the sum of the dice) when rolling three six-sided dice, then the number 6 will occur 10 times in the distribution. For a variety of values of NS (the number of sides on a die) and ND (the number of dice), we have the application calculate the Mean, Variance, and Kurtosis. We find functions for the Variance and Kurtosis as a function of NS and ND.
