For the creamy oatmeal, combine 1 cup steel cut oats, 1 cup rolled oats, salt to taste, and 7 cups water in a pot. Simmer for 30 minutes, covered and stirring periodically, until creamy. Add sweetener of choice if preferred. Serve with fruit, nut butter, nuts/seeds, or enjoy as savory oats with sauteed greens, beans, roasted veg, etc.
