Software development is an art and just like all art form, it was an open field for creativity and innovative mindset and though process, but unfortunately this is no longer the case.
The creativity in overall software engineering is just dying ...!!!
Today in software development, we don't create things, we maintain things and while doing maintenance its very difficult to disturb the order of the things.
Also, while software development is still an art, but the level of playing field given to software developers are too small for them to do some meaningful contributions.
In this video, I'm not talking about everyone getting a free hand in software engineering without any rules and regulations. What I'm suggesting is that there should be balance of things and giving a larger playing field to the people is one of them.
