💞 "Oh but you're eating for two" - this is one of the commonest phrases used when a woman is pregnant.
🌏 There is a lot of information out there on what to eat / what to avoid / how much to eat in pregnancy etc.
🧐 Technically, you only need an extra 200 calories per day for the growing baby. However, as I always say, listen to your body! You may have cravings or feel like eating more - in these cases, feel free to eat more. This is often the case as the nausea and vomiting from the first trimester starts to ease off in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
💪🏼 Always be mindful of the food that you're consuming and if you can, try to opt for the healthier options. I have videos on my channel explaining these in further detail - be sure to check them out!
