If you’re struggling with a short leg or a high or rotated hip caused by an uneven pelvis – This video will help to self-release the joints and muscles in and around this area.
First, you need to assess if your pelvis is rotated or height up on one side. You can look at a mirror, put your fingers on the little bones at the front of the hip and test if any of them is higher or forward.
Once you determine which hip is hiked up, you can combine stretching or mobilization and strength work to create more balance in the pelvis. The stretches will lose the pubic symphysis and the sacroiliac joint (SI joint) if locked up.
Lastly, the strengthening exercises for the muscles (that hold the hip up or let the hip sink down and allow the rotation of the pelvis) will build a STRONGER foundation in your lower back, pelvis, and hips and ward off future issues of a high hip.
