[silent] Home movie created by L.H. Jorud. Footage covers the Vigilante Day Parade. Annually staged by Helena High School students, the Vigilante Parade is meant to reenact events from Montana’s past. This footage is presented as originally created. It may contain outdated cultural depictions.

Scenes include mining, pioneer activities, bicycle riders, trappers, a marching band, covered wagons, and cowboys. Other views include education, gambling, vigilante activity, printing, photography, and railroad construction. 1930 (collection MOV 0034)
