[silent] Montana Department of Highways, Information Unit footage showing blasting work in Wolf Creek Canyon for the interstate highway. The blast is followed by rocks sliding down the hillside onto a railroad track that was previously covered with a layer of rock to protect it from the heavy drop of large rocks. After the blast a dozer breaks up the rock and pushes some larger chunks down the hillside. Circa 1962 (collection MOV 0035)
