How to Fix Sound on Discord [Can't Hear Anyone? Can Anybody Hear You?]
In this video, I cover several steps on how to fix the sound on Discord. If you can't hear any volume or are having problems with others hearing you, there are a few things you can try to fix your audio.
First, open your sound settings on Windows 10. Check your output and input devices. Make sure both devices that you're using as your microphone and as your headset are selected. If they're not selected, that might be the reason why your audio isn't working.
Next, you can go into your sound control panel and make sure your device for playback is set as your default device.
An additional step is opening up Discord and going into your user settings. Under your user settings, go into voice and video and check what's selected
as your input and output devices. These might differ from your Windows 10 input and output devices. If that's the case, switch them to make sure it's the correct devices you're using.
If both of those don't work, then scroll down on your voice and video settings on Discord and change your Audio Subsystem settings to Legacy. This will restart your Discord. This option has fixed the sound and audio for many Discord users.
As a last step if none of these work, open up Discord in your web browser. If the audio works in the web browser, then you'll have to uninstall and reinstall Discord on your PC. This should be your final step.
