If earlier all the pillows were of the same size 70x70 cm or, in extreme cases, 80x80 cm, now everything has changed. Large pillows are gone from our lives. Now they are sold in a variety of ways. Increasingly, these are orthopedic models with all sorts of smooth curves or the most common rectangular 50x70 cm.
Probably, many have pillowcases that do not match the size of the pillow.
I don’t want to sew them in, it’s easier to tuck the pillowcase under the bottom, but during sleep it unfolds, which is not at all beautiful and uncomfortable.
If the pillowcase is larger, then there is a clever way to put it on the pillow, and no one will guess that something is wrong.
I have a pillow 50x70 cm, and a pillowcase 70x70 cm, left over from old sets of linen.
1) The first thing to do is turn the pillowcase inside out.
2) Then put it on the bed with the valve down. Move the pillow to the edge of the pillowcase, and wrap the lower part with the valve over the pillow.
3) On the folded part, a pocket is obtained.
4) Put your hands inside and grab the corner of the pillow. Unscrew this part.
5) Do the same with the other corner.
6) In this case, the valve will be under the pillow.
7) Turn the pillow upside down. Straighten the crease. This is how it will work.
8) Now you need to stick your hand inside the pillowcase and grab the top corner of the pillow.
9) Turn the pillowcase inside out.
10) Do the same with the second corner.
11) The pillowcase fits the pillow perfectly. Everything looks perfect and it is not noticeable that the pillowcase is actually larger. The rest is neatly folded.
12) It seems that all this is difficult, but if you practice, all actions take less than a minute.
There is a second way to achieve the same result. It is necessary to put the pillowcase on the pillow as usual, move the pillow to the end of the pillowcase, and put the hanging part inside and straighten everything well.
