How to align currency sign to the left in excel
In this excel tutorial i will show you three ways to align dolor sign or any currency sign to the left inside a cell in excel. The task is simple. Every dollar or currency sign will be at the left corner of the cell and the amount will be at the right side of the Cell.
Procedure 1: In this procedure we are going to use a custom formula. Leave a comment for the formula.
Step 1: Select the data range where you have the currency sign.
Step 2: Right click on the selection and Click on "Format Cells"
Step 3: Now click on the custom and write the formula.
Step 4: Click ok and done.
Procedure 2: In this procedure we are going to use format cells - Accounting
Step 1: Select the data range where you have the currency sign.
Step 2: Right click on the selection and Click on "Format Cells"
Step 3: Now click on the Accounting Tab.
Step 4: Click ok and done.
Procedure 3: In this procedure we are going to use Accounting again yet this time we are going to find it from the ribbon.
Step 1: Select the data range where you have the currency sign.
Step 2: Click on the currency drop-down list Inside Home tab and under Number section.
Step 3: Now select accounting.
Done.
You have successfully aligned currency sign to the left.
