How To Setup YouTube Parental Controls On YouTube App
In this video I am going to show you how to setup YouTube parental controls on YouTube App!
If you don’t want your child to view certain content or want to limit his YouTube usage, then you can easily do so by tweaking YouTube parental control settings.
Actually, there are two ways to make YouTube child-friendly. You can either download a “YouTube kids” app from the app store which is a child-friendly app or just turn on the restricted mode on YouTube App.
In this video I will just show you how to turn on the restricted mode on YouTube App as it is much easier than downloading a separate app.
1. Open up YouTube App and login to your profile if you haven’t already.
2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your screen.
3. From the menu select “Settings”.
4. Go to “General” section.
5. Scroll down and turn on the “Restricted mode”. Restricted more will hide potentially mature videos so that your child could only view content that is child-friendly.
Done, from now on your child will not be able to view adult content on YouTube App!
