How to Create a Button to Show or Hide Multiple Rows in Excel
How to show/hide multiple rows using toggle button in excel?
Hiding multiple rows is tiresome so we are going to create a toggle button and then assign macro to that button so that we can show & hide several rows effortlessly.
This is an advanced excel tutorial and we are going to use macro coding for this tutorial. This excel tutorial is created on excel 2019 but this will work on excel 10, 13, 16 also. Haven't tried on excel 365 but you can try and let me know the result ;-)

Now lets get straight to the excel tutorial.
Step 1: Click on the developer tab (How to add developer tab in excel: • How to add developer tab in excel )
Step 2: Click on the insert button and then select ActiveX Toggle Button
Design your button according to your choice
Step 3: Now double click on the button and the VBE (Visual Basic Editor) will open.
Step 4: Write the code (Please subscribe and here goes the code: / 30291379 )
Step 5: Close the VBE and click on the design mood again.
Done. Now your toggle button is ready and you can now easily show and hide a lot of rows fast and effortlessly.
Bonus Fact: You'll have to save the file in .Xlsm format. (Here is how you can do that: ) This will allow you use the button every time you open your workbook.
