We consider the functions of the form y = y(x1, x2, ..., xn), functions with many independent variables. In particular, we study the limits and continuity of such functions. We also introduce the intermediate value theorem and extreme value theorem without proof. We primarily focus on the case of n = 2, but the argument readily applies to any dimension.
