Girls deserve to be safe in their own spaces. But by redefining “sex” in Title IX to include gender identity, the Biden administration would force schools to allow males who identify as females into girls’ private spaces like restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
The Biden administration claims its Title IX rule changes will not affect sports, but there is no way to redefine “sex” in Title IX without negatively impacting female athletes.
ADF has filed five lawsuits challenging the Biden administration’s unconstitutional Title IX rule changes, and we will continue to advocate for the safety and privacy of all women and girls.
