Goa, One Of the 28 States of India, situated on the south-western coast of India.
Surrounded by the Western Ghats mountain range on the east, and by the Arabian Sea on the west, goa is the smallest state in India by Total Surface Area. It covers approximately approximately 3,702 square kilometers.
Goa shares its borders with two Indian states, which are Maharashtra on the north and Karnataka on the east. The state is divided into two districts for administrative purposes, which are North Goa and South Goa. The state has a coastline of roughly 105 kilometers on the arabian sea.
The state has a total population of roughly 1.57 million inhabitants and ranks as the fourth-smallest by population among Indian states. Although being small in size and population. Goa has the highest GDP per capita income among all the states in India, which is Roughly 472 thousand Indian rupees.

Panaji is the capital city of goa and has population of roughly one hundred and fifty thousand inhabitants. . Other major cities include, vasco di gama, Margao, Mapusa and Ponda. Konkani, is the official language of the state,and is spoken by the majority of the people in Goa, followed by Marathi, the Additional official language. Other language are also spoken by people such as Hindi, English, Portuguese, and Kannada.
