Method 1: Combining Data from Different Columns

Enter the Pattern:

Select cells D5 to D9, including the cell with the pattern.
Apply Flash Fill:

Go to the 'Data' tab on the Ribbon and click 'Flash Fill' in the 'Data Tools' group.
Excel will automatically fill in the rest of the names based on the pattern.
Using Shortcut Key:

Type 'John Doe' in cell E5.
Select cells E5 to E9.
Press 'Ctrl + E' to activate Flash Fill.
