Methods to Enter Text Data:

Direct Entry:

Type your text into the selected cell. Let's type 'Sales Report' in cell A1. Once you're done, press Enter.
Using the Formula Bar:

Select the cell where you want to enter your text. Let's select cell B1.
Click on the Formula Bar and type 'Quarter 1'. After typing your text, press Enter to confirm.
Entering Multiple Lines in a Single Cell:

Select cell C1.
Type the first line of text, for example, 'Address:'.
To insert a line break, press Alt + Enter.
Now, type the second line of text, '123 Main Street', and then press Enter. This allows you to have multiple lines of text within the same cell.
Using AutoFill:

Type the initial text in consecutive cells, for example, 'Product 1' in cell D1 and 'Product 2' in cell D2.
Select the cells containing your text. Click and drag the fill handle (the small square at the bottom-right corner of the selected cells) down to fill the series. Excel will automatically continue the sequence.
Copy and Paste:

Select the cell with the text you want to copy. Let's select cell E1 with 'Total Sales' and copy it.
Select the destination cell where you want to paste the text. In this case, let's choose cell F1 and paste the copied text.
