Windows 8 Build 7814
This is Windows 8 build 7814 in VMware Workstation Pro. This is a Milestone 1 build that was made available on 30 September 2021. This build was compiled on 2010-09-07 and "expires" on 2011-02-05 (this build has a broken timebomb,).
How I got this to work:
VMware Workstation Pro with backwards compatibility set to version 10.
OS set to Windows 7 x64.
All settings can be left to default, but I recommend two CPU cores and giving the guest more memory.
For drivers, use VMware Tools version 8.
