To express the thermodynamic functions in terms of Boltzmann Partition Function is essential for the study of Maxwell-Boltzmann Statistics. The most important result is to express the entropy of a classical system in terms of partition function. Using the Boltzmann entropy theorem which reads as S=k logW ,the entropy of a classical system has been expressed in terms of the Boltzmann partition function. Particular result for the entropy of a perfect gas has been obtained too. This result, although does not follow the additive property of entropy, which gives rise to a famous phenomenon namely Gibbs Paradox.
