The most common comment I get on this bed while talking to other van lifer's on the road is "Aw man I wish I could sit up on my bed like that."
It's so easy to get a one track mind while desogning your campervan to maximize the amount of storage space in every instance.
My advice would be that if you're planning on using your van as anything more than just a weekender, then you really need to start weighing up the benefits of storage vs open space in your conversion. Being able to sit up on your bed being the prime example! You'll have a much better time on the road if you pack a little lighter on the road and leave yourself some room to move in the van.a
