2 PIECES OF SIRLON STEAK (WEIGHING 250 EACH)
STEAK SEASONING INGREDIENTS
3/4 TSP FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
SALT
SAUCE INGREDIENTS
130G BUTTON MUSHROOMS
1 CLOVE OF MINCED GARLIC
1 TSP OF WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1/4 TSP FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
1/4 TSP ONION POWDER
1/2 TSP SPRING ONION
100ML HEAVY CREAM
100ML FULL CREAM FRESH MILK
3/4 TSP MUSTARD SAUCE
SALT
FRESH ROSEMARY SPRIG
FRESH THYME SPRIG
2 TBSP WATER TO DEGLAZE THE PAN
FRESH SPRING ONION FOR GARNISH
-PAT DRY THE STEAK WITH A PAPER TOWEL, SEASON IT ON BOTH SIDES WITH SALT AND PEPPER.
-PUT TWO TBSP OF BUTTER IN A BIG PAN, FOLLOWED BY ONE TBSP OF OIL, HEAT ON HIGH-MEDIUM UNTIL HOT.
-ADD THE MEAT FRY FOR 3 MINUTES ON ONE SIDE FLIP ON THE OTHER SIDE FRY FOR 3 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM THE PAN KEEP IT SOMEWHERE WARM. DEGLAZE THE PAN WITH 2 TBSP OF WATER ALLOW THE WATER TO DRY UP.
-ADD MUSHROOMS, ROSEMARY AND THYME, STIR AND FRY FOR 2 MINUTES. REMOVE THE HERBS, ADD GARLIC MIX AND THEN ADD WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, MUSTARD SAUCE, BLACK PEPPER, STIR AND COOK FOR ONE MINUTE ADD A MIXTURE OF CREAM AND FRESH MILK, STIR. ADD SALT ,SPRING ONION AND ONION POWDER, MIX WELL, COOK FOR 7 MINUTES ON LOW -MEDIUM. TURN OFF THE HEAT AND REMOVE IT FROM THE STOVE.
-SERVE THE STEAK WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE ON A BED OF MASHED POTATOES, GARNISH WITH SPRING ONION. ENJOY
