TOPIC : Speed up AutoCAD Performance : Boosting Speed and Efficiency with Smart Settings
I will show you those settings.
Please stay with me till the end.
I will explain the settings in two parts.
AutoCAD settings & Windows settings.
I will open AutoCAD.
1. First I will turn off the selection preview.
when we take our cursor on the object it will blow like this.
it will give us a jerky movement of the cursor.
Types selection preview
and
change the value to 0.
Now the selection preview is turned off.
2. Next one selection highlight.
when you select objects, it will blow like this.
It will consume more graphics memory.
Type highlight and click enter.
change the value to 0
Now the selection highlights turn off.
Next one is a quick properties palette.
Each time when you select the object, the quick properties palette will pop up on the screen.
it is not necessary on each selection of the object.
it is required only when we are changing the properties of the selected object.
Type QP mode
And change the value to 0.
Now that palette is not visible on each selection, if you want that palette, select object and right click, here select quick properties now you will get a Quick properties screen.
Next one is regenerate.
When you zoom or pen the drawing and while switching the window the software will automatically regenerate the object in the workspace. It is not always required.
Type region mode and click enter.
here give the value 0
Now auto generation is turned off..
if you want to regenerate the object directly use regenerate command Type RE click enter.
