AutoCAD Tips & Tricks : How to Set Default Folder for Saving Drawings.
In this video I will show you how to set default folder to save your cad Drawing.
While save the cad drawing, sometimes we may forget to specify the folder Path to save our drawing. In this case we may lost our drawing. in AutoCAD we can set Default Folder to SAVE Your CAD Drawings.
In autocade command prompt..
Type remember folders.
Change this variable to “0”
Then go to desktop (Press Ctrl+D.)
Open the destination folder where you want to save your drawing.
Right click on folder name and copy the Address.
Then Right click on AutoCAD icon.
Select properties, in shortcut panel.
Past the copied folder path in start in BOX.
Then click on apply and click on continue and the window.
Then restart AutoCAD Application,
now you click on save & open command,
It will take you to the selected folder automatically.
