🎚️ 🔴 Farewell, GoXLR & 9x GoXLR Alternatives 💡🟢
In this video, I cover the recent news that TC Helicon have let staff go from their Canadian software support office, essentially rendering the GoXLR software and firmware without support for the foreseeable future.
Is the GoXLR dead? Will the GoXLR be discontinued? Will the GoXLR break or die off? Has GoXLR Driver support ended? I answer all of these questions and more in this vid!
Recently in the official GoXLR Discord service, it was announced that all support staff have been made redundant, and essentially will no longer support the GoXLR, it's software or help users with any kind of support issue.
There is an open source project available called GoXLR Utility here; https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/gox... which is available for MacOS, Windows and Linux, but support of such software is incredibly demanding and may in the fullness of time require a support cost to be sustained.
