First Person MARIO KART VR Natively on Quest?! // VR Emulation is Going CRAZY (Quest 3)
The Quest 3 is an AMAZING VR emulation device and this brand new CitraVR beta release, which gives players a new super immersive way to experience VR 3DS games, proves that with some incredible first person Mario Kart VR gameplay! The new CitraVR version includes the brand new super immersive mode which was created by VR veterans Dr Beef and LubosVR, it aims to gives players a closer to native VR experience when emulating 3DS games in VR with a screen that wraps around you and allows you to freely look around in 6DOF. Currently Mario Kart 7 is a superb example of this, with it's first person mode it feels like an almost native VR Mario Kart game and it's an addictive new way to experience a classic. So we can now play a first person Mario Kart VR game NATIVELY on Quest headsets (Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro), it certainly isn't perfect but it's VERY impressive and was more good enough for me to sit and play through multiple Grand Prix's today.

To play Mario Kart VR in first person on Quest you'll need to change these settings in the CitraVR menus before launching the game:
- Super Immersive Mode Profile 2
- Register Offset = 90
- Positional Factor = x20
- Scaler = x1
- Depth = x250
- When in Mario Kart 7place a thumb of the right controller thumbrest and and push the left joystick up/down to toggle first person mode.
All first person Mario Kart VR gameplay was captured natively inside the Quest 3 using this new version of CitraVR.
