Atherosclerosis – An Autoimmune Disease?
In this video, we will explore atherosclerosis, a disease affecting the body’s arteries. The progression of this disease is accelerated by the immune system, which causes inflammation in arterial walls. We will first discuss how the disease works, and then we will do a deep dive on the immune system’s role in atherosclerosis.
