A Gem from 1982 -- Audio recording of me playing PIANO
In 1981, I bought myself a used spinet piano, some piano books for adult learners, and taught myself to play. I didn't remember making this, but I recently found a cassette recording of me making an intro to some songs I had learned, and then playing them. Here's that intro and Beethoven's Für Elise, recorded in early December 1982. Later that month, I threw a Mystery Soiree concert where I surprised family and friends at the public library in my hometown. To give you something to look at/read while listening, I've included a photo from that concert and my program from it. I amuse myself.
