Amazon Sagemaker users often make use of the pre-built conda environments / jupyter kernels that ship with Sagemaker. Some think that Sagemaker only offers or supports the versions of python used in these environments. This is not the case. Using conda, you can install a newer version of python and then pip install your favorite packages after that.
