Getting a GPU in 2021: Helpful Methods, Tools, & Tips
I did say I would make this video. Here it is.
It's very hard to get your hands on a GPU at a reasonable price right now. This isn't a guide on the economics of video card values. Instead, I'm offering some things I learned while hunting down cards for these videos. The methods here are the methods I used to get cards (except for number 3) for my videos and for friends / family.
I'm not guaranteeing they'll work, and don't do anything you feel uncomfortable with. I'm also not responsible if you get yourself stabbed or murdered on craigslist. Also, watch out for stolen things. Buy local used items at your own risk. There are some nuts out there.
