Steps to fix your device.
1. Remove the ear pad and disconnect the left side from the headband.
2. Rotate the four screws a quarter turn. There should be little resistance in the direction they turn. The screws DO NOT come out all the way.
3. Insert your thin metal pry tool between the plastic speaker housing and metal ear cup and gently pry up all around the edge. (you can use tape to protect the metal from scratches)
4. Remove the screws that hold the speaker in place.
5. Disconnect the Bluetooth board and remove the screws that hold it in.
6. Remove the screws and ribbon cables that hold the headband jack in place then carefully slide the jack out.
7. Carefully install the new jack, making sure the ribbon cables are in their proper place and not pinched.
8. Reinstall the Bluetooth board and ribbon cable attachments.
9. Install the speaker (be careful to not let any of the screws get sucked into the speaker magnet as it can damage the driver).
10. Install the speaker plastic cover with new tape if you like
11. Turn the four screws a quarter turn, attach the cup to the headband, and install the ear pad.
12. Get back to jamming out 🎵
