Steps to fix your device.
1. Heat the screen and keep each part pried up with small picks
2. Remove the screen slowly and carefully by cutting the remaining adhesive
3. Disconnect the Face ID ribbon
4. Remove the old adhesive on the screen and housing
5. Lift the cover from the charge port and battery connections then disconnect the battery and drain the power by holding the power button for a few seconds
6. Disconnect the charge port and remove it from the housing.
7. Clean the port area in the housing
8. Install the new port
9. Reconnect the battery and lay the cover back down
10. Install new adhesive on the housing and trim it to the edge of the housing
11. Reconnect the Face ID ribbon
12. Test the iPad to make sure the screen, Face ID, touch screen, and charge port are working properly.
13. Set the screen in place and make sure that it is perfectly aligned in the housing
14. Push down on the edges of the screen so that it sticks
15. Get back to multitasking!
